These designs were to be placed onto glasses, so I automatically thought of a nice tall glass of beer, which are common at Christmas parties. I used Adobe Illustrator to make a vector of a beer mug, and added the title of the event as well as the date. I then took the line work in Photoshop and colored the logo in.
To make the mock ups for the three different glasses that the logo would be placed on, I used a smart object to map out the design onto the glasses and then warp them using a template.
Then the three preview glasses along with the logo were loaded up onto a PDF preview sheet.
